c a s a   b l u e youth from Europe comes together to build a common house Creation of a centre for international workcamps / Rehabilitation centre for children and young people from Chernobyl . Casa blue was develloped during project meetings during 1999- 2001.     It shows imaginative and phantastical architectural models and drawings for individual façade  elements to be integrated into the building´s main structure and the national pavillions.“Casa Blue” as a physical and social conclusion of the creative process embodies this social process involving international architectural workcamps with young people and children. It is driven by the vision of creating a building for people who are suffering from the effects of radioactive contamination. The final building will form the climax of the Social Sculpture, the conclusion of the social activities in previous gatherings. The building is the physical expression and conclusion of the Social Sculpture and will harbour other social projects in the future.  Currently the realization of this project is uncertain.

impulsed by the KAJA initiators Irina Saslawskaja, Boris Kostich and Bernhard Ahlers children and young people from the KAJA - organisation Minsk developed a participation concept, which joint different design elements

basic design elements

The casa blue construction is a combination of a tipi - construction and a spiral on a hexagonical groundplan ( three design - principles ). The construction was influenced by Prof. Natterer and planned by belorussian and german students under the leadership of. Prof. Sgirowskij Minsk and Prof. Wörzberger Münster ( Germany) . The 1:3 model was built in summer 1999 by young craftsmen from Germany and Belarus.
