| "The sculpture aims at changing
the pespective on something we usually experience as the surface of the
earth : Grass. We walk and fly over it or lie on it, but never get below
it. In this sculpture a piece of the grass topping of the top soil is
removed and hung up in anobservation apparatus. One half of this sample is
turned upsite down so that we experience the grass as hanging down on us.
The other half keeps the original horizontal orientation but its roots can
be studied by the person lying under it."
